Bass Anglers around the country are raving about the new Bombshell Turtle from Castalia Outdoors.
Bombshell Turtle was one of the few products that caught my eye at ICAST and respectfully so, every soft plastic manufacturer in the world focuses on frogs and worms. Infact, I saw so many frogs at the new product showcase, that the Bombshell Turtle had no choice but to stand out.
The Bombshell Turtle is a little over 3 inches around, comes in an assortment of colors. The turtle has 4 legs that are made of plastics that give it a unique action while being reeled. It has a very slow decent, which makes it usable in weedy situations. The suggested way to rig it is Texas style with a 3/0 hook and 3/8 bullet sinker, although I don’t use the bullet with my rig for a weedless application.
