Four outdoor shows and about 700 stickers later, I’m ready to recap my month hosting the Wisconsinoutdoorfun.com booth.
The circuit started with the Central Wisconsin Sport Show in Rothschild from February 17 to 19. I enjoyed having my wife and kids join me at the show one afternoon. My kids love the chance to shoot a bow and a bb gun.
The Madison Fishing Expo followed on the weekend of February 24 to 26. Blogger Len Harris spent some time in the booth selling signed copies of his book and I enjoyed his trout fishing for beginners seminar at the show.
The Northeast Wisconsin Sport Fishin’ Show in Green Bay challenged me with the worst drive of the winter returning to Wausau on Friday, March 2. Pretty much 35 mph from Green Bay to Shawano. The show offered a chance for my son to fish the trout pond on the Sunday of the show with my dad and I. Here’s underwater video of the pond.
The five-day Milwaukee Sports Show was massive and a lot of fun. A strong wifi connection allowed me to Livestream from the show twice. And the Sprocketz Bike Shop mobile camera got a workout, too, with a quick walk around the show. And I drew a quick installment of ‘Finish the Cartoon’ from the booth.
The Wisconsin Waterfowl Association hosted a booth next to mine and I enjoyed the company of Tom and his black lab Gunner for most of the show.
