Last week I went on my first night ride, and my first fat bike ride at Levis Mounds. I have never ridden at night, unless you count riding home after a night out in the summer, which I don’t. I was a little nervous, but I borrowed a light for my helmet and one for my handle bars and set out with the group and a fully illuminated trail in front of me.
I fell right away, but only in some pine needles. After I got used to tunnel vision, it was pretty awesome. I haven’t had that great of a bike ride in awhile!
