Tews Two, 1605 S. Main St. in Oshkosh will be hosting a free sports show on Saturday, January 21, 2012. The show runs from 9 am to 3 pm.
The show will feature reps from Off Shore Tackle Company, Tommy Harris Blades, Jiffy Ice Drills, Frabill, Marcum Electronics and other major manufacturers. Tews will be unveiling the 2012 line-up of custom colored “glow in the dark” painted Salmo and Flicker Shad lures, which will be exclusive to the Tews store. Tommy Harris will reveal his 2012 lineup of product to the public for the first time, including his soon to be famous Green Bay series.
Ed Lemke essentially started Tews fixing ice drills. Jiffy ice drills were the dominating brand at the time, and Ed became known as “Jiffy Ed” reflecting his aptitude to work on the Jiffy product lines. Ed passed away just over a year ago, and his sons (and their spouses) and his wife, Donna, have decided to continue the tradition of the family owned store.
The current store location overlooks Lake Winnebago, and is a natural stopping point for fishermen launching at the local boat ramps or accessing the frozen lake from public access points. There is always an up-to-date fishing report just by asking the counter personnel.
If you want to be the first to have some cutting edge lures, tackle and harness blades; Tews Two will be the place you want to be on January 21st.
