Brown trout and steelhead are making their presence known in the harbors up and down Wisconsin’s east coast. And … so are anglers. I spent a good part of Saturday on the water and counted over 25 boats in the Milwaukee harbor. I was able to pick up about a dozen fish, the nicest being this 31″ buck steelhead.
The bite should continue through the winter. The heavy presence of shad should keep fish within reach of shore anglers and eventually ice fisherman.
